*This is the final version of the CSSA logo.

I worked with DePaul CSSA on a project designing a new logo to advertise their club and introduce Chinese culture to college students. I designed many new logos for DePaul CSSA to decide which one is the best fit to introduce Chinese culture or to represent their CSSA.

Concept Development
I created six different designs of the logos for DePaul Chinese Students and Scholars Association. All of the designs demonstrate the Chinese culture and its characteristic. The CSSA wants the logo to contain something that can symbolize Chinese culture and to include the color blue to represent DePaul University. Therefore, I chose the color red to represents China and the color blue represents DePaul University.
These two logos were liked by the DePaul CSSA students.
Concept Refinement
At the end, students from the CSSA think that a clean and simple version logo might be a good choice to be present. And so I created two versions of the simplest logos for them to choose. They finally considered the right side of the logo to be the final one.
